2019 Ford Fusion Redesign

2019 Ford Fusion Redesign

With the current generation of Ford Fusion being sold since 2012, it’s long overdue for a facelift, and that’s what we’ll get at the 2018 New York Auto Show. Like most facelifts, some changes can be seen on the inside or outside, but what Ford has done is including a new Co-Pilot360 suite of propulsion technology at all trim levels as standard equipment. The hybrid model gets a new larger battery with increased all-electric range, while some higher trim now get standard 4G LTE internet connection and Fusion SEL back to lineup to replace SE Luxury package

With the current five-year-old gene model and the facelift that comes very late in your life cycle may tend to ride things for the next gene model. But, before you make that decision, there are some questions you need to ask yourself.

Is Ford Changing Front End Ford Fusion 2019?

The changes are small, but you’ll find that Ford has re-created the front fascia for a new, more sporty look. This includes a new look to the lower air dams, new corner lights with higher angle inserts, and the headlights have even been reshaped just a bit, adding more characters to the lower edge. The front grille is the same, but has a new and thicker chrome net. Finally, new light elements get new LED lights on all trim levels.

Does Ford Change the Ford Fusion Side Profile 2019?

No. Since this is just a facelift, you will find the same body line, and the same belt line. Rear stationary glass even the same. Ford has not mentioned anything about the new wheels, but one shot so far shows a pair of wheels we’ve never seen before.

How is the Final End of Ford Fusion 2019 Different?

The biggest change behind is the new decklid. In some models, it includes a small rear fin and all of those models include more definition around the plate recess. The rear fascia is also more pronounced with the body line above the bottom insertion extending the full width of the fascia. Rear rear lights maintain pre-facelift model shapes but showcase new layouts and LED lighting at all trim levels.
