2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Release Date

The upcoming Tacoma still has to use the same platform as before.

Toyota released the 3rd generation of Tacoma back at the end of 2015 and ever since then they’ve really kept updating it. However, it now looks like a facelift for a truck that may be on its way. Although this has not been confirmed, it will more than likely happen in the near future. The truck receiving the update should be 2019 Toyota Tacoma.

While at this point the details are still vague, this new model should be equipped with a revised set of machines, different designs and features that are much more than before. One thing that will not change will be the price. It looks like Toyota will maintain the pricing scheme for Tacoma. This should allow them to challenge class competitors and that should make the problem even more difficult for GM.

New custom model

However, this time around the material of the frame to be created may be different. It looks like they can use ultra-high strength steel in construction. The result should be less severe and a slightly more durable frame that will increase the pullout rating past 7,000 pounds. Even so, Tacoma will still be left behind against its rivals but even less later.

2019 Toyota Tacoma Design

Since 2019 Toyota Tacoma will only undergo a mid-day facelift, we can expect the design to remain similar to its predecessor. The truck may have new headlamps, a honeycomb grille on some slightly different models and bumpers. The big changes will come with TRD Pro. It should get an off-road inspired bumper, 17-inch rims that are wrapped in off-road tires of performance as well as glowing wheel arches. Sport, on the other hand, may be closer to the ground and may have a 19 inch rim. It could be the first street-oriented truck since the F-150 Lightning that makes a lot of exciting stuff on the market.

2019 Toyota Tacoma Interior

When they reveal the truck right now, everyone is amazed at how nice the interior is. Unfortunately, we will not be as impressed as ever especially since the upcoming Tacoma will not change much. The inside of 2019 Toyota Tacoma must remain the same as before. The big difference of its predecessor will be the available feature. It looks like a higher end model will come with a larger infotainment screen, better speakers, and even more safety gear. These materials are likely to increase as well, but this only applies to mid-range models that are not as good as they should be.

2019 Toyota Tacoma Powertrain

Both 2.7 liter and 3.5 liter V6 will be brought largely unchanged. The four cylinders will offer about 160 horsepower, but the V6 will get a boost. It looks like industry experts think the new V6 will be close to 300 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. This will further help with towing capacity and off-the-line performance. Major changes to Tacoma will likely come with the new TRD Pro. If the rumor is true, then the new Tacoma must get a twin-turbo 3.0 V6 or 3.5 liter. With a power of 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque, this should allow an off-road-oriented Tacoma to beat its competitors. To capitalize on that power, this truck version has to be driven by four wheels, and the possibility of a different 8 speed transmission, as standard.

2019 Toyota Tacoma Price

There are TRD Pro’s available today, but this starts in the north $ 40,000. In fact, with the choice, the truck is more expensive than the Raptor is much more qualified. Therefore, it is safe to assume Toyota will release at least one new version again. TRD Pro will be an off-road oriented version whereas TRD Sport should be one for road use. Both of these costs are approximately equal to $ 40,000. The big change will be the truck’s ability. While the price will remain the same, the new TRD Pro must be present with much greater strength and much better gears. Things like shocks with external reservoirs, travel much more wheel, bigger brakes and heavy duty skid plates should be standard. This alone should be well worth the money.
