Honda made a performance change to improve the way Odyssey drives. The new structure is more rigid, the steering is faster, and there are 9- and 10-speed automatic transmissions.
Under the hood, there is a new 3.5-liter V-6 that produces 280 horsepower, 32 more than last year. Fuel economy improves, making Odyssey the most efficient minivan in its class, apart from plug-in Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. More effort is also done to block the noise inside the cabin.

2018 Honda Odyssey Styling
The 2018 model should stand out from its competitors in the parking lot, but not the prettiest minivan on the market. The difference goes to Chrysler Pacifica. The Odyssey front end is intentionally derived from the Pilot brand crossover and the Civic compact car, and all models now have an active grille window to improve aerodynamic efficiency on the highway. A large chrome grille extends between the headlights that contain the flashing LED lights. LED headlamps and fog lights are included on the top turing model.
