2018 GMC Acadia Review Redesign

2018 GMC Acadia Review Redesign

Acadia GMC has just undergone a complete redesign, so we see no reason for the change – even the lightest tweaks – for the 2018 model.

The new Acadia appearance for 2017, plus a length of 7.2 inches shorter, 3.5 inches thinner, and 6.6 inches taller than the previous generation. We hope all of this remains the same for 2018.

The new body also affects the interior, losing 0.3 inches of front seat space and 2.1 inches of third row foot space but getting an additional 2.9 inch leg room in the second row. We expect this dimension and interior design set-up to keep changing.

The redesign also brings many new features, and we hope this does not change in the new year model. The standard equipment list should continue to include 17-inch alloy wheels, heating mirrors, keyless lock and ignition keys, three zone climate controls, leather wrapped steering wheel, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and more.

We also expect two new engines to 2017 rolled into 2018 without any changes. 2.5 liter four-cylinder with 193 hp power and 188 pound-feet of torque will continue as the base engine. The optional powerplant is a 3.6 liter V6 with 310 hp of torque and 271 lb-ft of torque. Both engines use a six-speed automatic transmission.
Safety will be a strong point for GMC Acadia 2018, because the current model is Choose Safety Top IIHS, and we expect nothing to change in this department. The only thing that kept him from ranking Top Safety Pick Plus was the “Marginal” rating received in the new Headlight test. To achieve this Top Safety Pick status, buyers must use a top-topping Denali model and select the Technology Package, which runs $ 1,395 by 2017.
