2018 BMW 7 Series Release Date for Sale

The Mercedes Benz S-Class is undoubtedly an automotive institution with its own right, and the Audi A8 has a full redesign on the go, but buyers in this segment owe it to themselves to see the BMW 7 Series. In our day with the latest 7 Series, we Has been impressed with its quiet and comfortable cabin, high-quality materials, powerful acceleration (yes, even plug-in hybrid models), excellent driving dynamics, extensive technological options, and, of course, spacious rear seats.

With plug-in hybrid 740e xDrive hybrid technology and turbocharged V12 powered M760i xDrive sold this year, the Series 7 has a fully fleshed-out chisel line. The older six-cylinder and six-cylinder turbocharged models are still attractive options, and both are available with AWD.
The base 7 series comes with a lot of great content, but many of the most interesting options are incorporated into expensive packages that can quickly raise car costs. Some options are a bit confusing, such as making Apple CarPlay an extra $ 300 integration. This is not new for BMW, so do not expect to change in the near future.

We recommend

The eight-cylinder turbocharged 750i strikes the right balance of power, attractiveness and cost. The predictive suspension adjustment from Autobahn makes the Series 7 air suspension the most, and the Driver Assistance Plus package adds an adaptive cruise control, which is a must for travel or long distance. Unless we also find a budget for the driver, we will skip the Rear Executive Seat because it eliminates some features of the front seats.

Ease of use

There is a generous suitcase and the storage of small items is enough, but not extraordinary. Series 7 is certainly not a class leader in this field, especially with the 740e, the battery attached to the trunk.

technology

The Series 7 offers an impressive array of technologies, especially as you enter the options menu. There is a lot of connectivity, though the Android Auto shortcomings are a bit disappointing. There are many optional driver tools and they work well.
