2018 Audi S6 Release Date Specs

2018 Audi S6 stands with impressive hands: quality interior, good performance, functional form.

This year’s 2018 Audi S6 is synonymous with last year’s model, right down to lugnuts. This last gets rejected by 2016 when Audi rewards the new S6 bumper, new grille, and quad-tip exhaust.

Do not mess with success, we say. S6 gets a twin-turbocharged power-dense 4.0-liter V-8 that produces 450 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. It is shifted through an automatic steering wheel and a 7 speed steering wheel, which Audi calls Quattro. The sports rear difference is available on the S6, which helps the 4,400-pound sedan carve out the lightning line through the corner.

The S6 is equipped with a standard rearview camera, 8.0-inch driver information display, Bluetooth connectivity, premium Bose audio, navigation, leather seats, and Audi infotainment system, called MMI.

Such standard equipment is very impressive, but S6 faces existential problems. It’s booked by the stunning S5 and S7 Sportback models that deliver a thrilling performance with a more expressive exterior.
In other words: S6’s approach to speed may not be enough for some buyers – some just need attention.

2018 Audi S6 Styling

2018 Audi S6 largely follows the A6 from which it is based, but adds some gestures to hint at its incredible speed. In general, S6 follows the same elegant and modern approach as the A6 set for it.

We said it was unfriendly – others might call it boring. We will save it to S6 and discuss its muscular shape. From the outside, a muscular veil and a black trapezoid grille announced his presence from the front. The Audi character line – the crease under the window that runs along the car – appears in direct sunlight and only in lighter colors, and does not clothe the S6 profile much. In the rear, the quad-ended exhaust port fires the V-8 blades to the ether, and a small diffuser hints at its need for speed.

Inside is a better story, with quality materials presented in other conservative affairs. Audi sharpen the S6 interior with contrasting stitching and red leather available, or carbon twill accents. The inside is pleasing, but this machine will make the racing pulse.

2018 Audi S6 Performance

The Audi plant has a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 as far as the S6 engine bay as possible. The machine itself is just as deep as the case of beer, but much more densely and satisfactorily. Unlike the bigger brother, S6 is the only way to get the V-8 inserted into the body of A6. At 450 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque, the fertile V-8 helps drive the car up to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds. It suits most of the S6 competitors, including the E43 Mercedes-AMG sedan, but half the buttons are slower than the new BMW M550i xDrive.

Like both cars, the Audi S6 comes with a standard all-wheel drive that helps ground power through a standard 40/60 front-to-rear split. A 7-speed automatic clutch automatically handles tasks that shift with admirable and seamless.

Like the smaller S4, the S6 can be equipped with a rear differential sport that better controls side-to-side power, but also comes with a dynamic steering package that we do not like. Simply put, a dynamic steering setup can dramatically change the ratio depending on the speed in a way that does not seem completely linear, or predictable. If we have our druthers, the rear differential will be a standalone option on the S6 menu, but we’ll take both when pressed.

S6 standard handling is precise, though somewhat disconnected from the road.

2018 Audi S6 Comfort & Quality

With seating for four and wide space, the S6 manages to be practical and powerful.
Based on the A6, the 2018 Audi S6 has the same proportion and the same ability to accommodate four adults comfortably (or five in an emergency) with enough space for many equipment.

With numbers, the S6 has 114.8 inches between the wheels and almost 200 inches from end to end, which is a generous shadow for the mid designer. Dimensions, S6 is not much smaller than the S8-only 2 inches.
The rear seat passenger should have enough leg room to fit behind the 6-footer, although the inside seat can cut the available space.

The front seat riders have a better view with deeper sports buckets and plenty of space available. S6 is equipped with leather as standard equipment, but soft leather is available at no cost.

For him swallows 14.1 cubic feet of cargo, which is quite a lot of luggage, but 25 percent smaller than the new BMW 5 Series luggage.

Inside, the S6 is trimmed with meticulous attention to detail and displays one of the simplest layouts. In dark colors we have noted that it can feel a bit cold, however.

2018 Audi S6 Features

With a good hand to start, S6 gets better and richer with almost any choice.
Audi asked for a lot of money for S6- $ 72,875 to start-but it also provided a lot of standard equipment.

Outside the box, the S6 includes a standard rear-view camera, 8.0-inch driver information display, Bluetooth connectivity, premium Bose audio, navigation, leather seats, and Audi infotainment system, called MMI.

The optional equipment for S6 mostly reflects the A6, with some additional keys.
S6 offers sports rear variants available that are bundled with sport exhaust, dynamic steering ratio, and red brake calipers for $ 3,900. They took us to the rear differential, which helped stick the S6 and move like a middle-class champion.

From there, Audi offers the great Bang & Olufsen audio system ($ 4,900), optional summer tires with 20-inch alloy wheels ($ 1,000), active safety suite ($ 2,550), and cold weather package ($ 500) different uses. .
Other options include night vision camera, Alcantara headliner, and massaging the front seat which we think is easy to avoid for S6.
